At your first appointment, I conduct a thorough intake interview where I go over your health history and your goals. I provide a detailed description of my treatment plan so there are never any surprises during your massage. I obtain verbal and written consent for your treatment. Orthopedic assessments may be required to provide a safe and effective treatment.


I do my best to maximise your hands-on time, but please be aware that it is rarely the full length of the appointment.

Before your first appointment you will be required to complete a confidential health history form. This form will be updated regularly to ensure I have all of the necessary information to provide you with a safe and effective massage therapy treatment. The information in your file can only be released with your consent or if required by law. In order to best serve you, I may discuss your case with other healthcare providers involved in your care. 


Cancellation Policy:

Your appointment time is reserved for you and only you! 24 hours notice is required to cancel or make any changes to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel, reschedule or do not show for your scheduled appointment for any reason with less than 24 hours notice, then you will be charged the full treatment cost.


Promptness is required for appointment times. I recommend arriving a couple minutes early to ensure you benefit from your full appointment time. If you are late, please remember that the scheduled ending of your treatment is still in effect, as well as the fee for treatment time scheduled. 


As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued patients - Thats you! When you cancel at the last minute, my livelihood is jeopardised. You’re also taking away an appointment away from someone else who could benefit from my care.

Payment Policy

  • Available payment options for treatment are: etransfer, cash & cheque. You will be emailed a detailed receipt after treatment with all of the necessary information needed to submit to any personal health insurance plans, or for taxes, if that is available for you. 


REFUSAL OF SERVICE:

At any time you may terminate or modify your treatment, regardless of previous consent given. If you don't like the pillows, the music, me, anything at all - Please tell me and we can modify your treatment plan or I can refer you to another healthcare professional who may be better suited to you. 


For safety purposes, I also reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • intoxication
  • derogatory or bigoted comments
  • sexual or romantic advances
  • illness or infectious conditions
  • contagious or unidentified skin conditions 

If you develop a skin condition, please clear it with your doctor before receiving a massage. If you exhibit any of the aforementioned conditions or behaviours, you'll be denied treatment and charged for the appointment.
